Watch a moving picture of your voice. Sing or talk into the microphone as you watch the screen. A computer analyzes the sound and displays it as a scrolling pattern. The horizontal band represents the different pitches, or frequencies in your voice. The colors represent the loudness of each frequency; louder sounds show up as yellow and red, softer sounds show are blue and purple.
