Can Crusher
A bank of capacitors is charged with 1000 Joules of electrical energy. An aluminum can is placed in the center of a copper coil. The energy stored in the capacitors is instantly released into the coil with a loud ‘pop’. The can becomes compressed into an hour-glass shape. The residual heat from the induced current can be felt in the can.
